I've spent lots of time on here enjoying the thoughtful write ups about how to shave the foam down on my monster M750 and I just wanted to chime in with one more level of seat mod that's possible.    I simply made the seat pan about two inches narrower by making 1 inch cutouts on both sides of the seat pan, where the inner legs would touch.  It's turned out to be super easy, still looks completely stock, and as you know, a narrow seat can really help!

Good for you. Seat mods are really easy and satisfying.
So many people think these seats are "ergonomically engineered" - pfffffft.
Just a piece of plastic with foam and naugahyde "engineered" to fit some other guy's ass. Usually so they look and feel good in the showroom.
So cut away! (and post pics)
