Sydney girl just starting out riding a monster 620.

Thanks Stopintime 😊 haha the irony in ur name in regards to my post.
I'm trying to get out each day hopefully the nerves will go in time.
I'd prefer sooner rather than later 😜

Most understandable, but don't push it. This is one of those situations when 'easy does it' and 'less is more'  [thumbsup]

Make each ride a little easier and shorter than your ambition - it will leave you with the urge to go out again soon and a feeling of mastering - it will also add fun AND you will avoid stress & danger. (in other words: stop in time)

Good advice.

Riding a moto is a complex task that requires a lot of our brain and body. Tasks like that see a rapid decline in our proficiency as we approach and go past the 'Ive over done it' point.
"Make each ride a little easier and shorter than your ambition " is a great way of putting it.

Perhaps read a book or two - I like Lee Parks Total Control. Perhaps a class. But most of all,

if you haven't done so already, look into a rider safety course. great way to improve skills and confidence.
