I saw a report that the area around casa de DDGM received 17" of snow.

Was it incorrect?

Maybe 8" at most.  Maybe more around Evergreen & Conifer?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

The thing looks pretty good for over 50k
Nice rearset. Looks like a different rear spring too...

Thank you.

Yes, it is a much beefier spring in back - 600 lb.
Also heavier springs & oil in the front.  95 lb.

You mean you don't stand on your heads?  :o :o :o

Probably the usual Sunday routine. Lunch...grocery shopping...and some activity to wear the constant motion machine down a bit. ;)

No wood to stack.

With any luck our wood stacking days will be over very soon.

The modern world is a strange place.  We invent every conceivable labour saving device to make life less arduous and increase leisure time.

And then we fill that leisure time going to the gym to use yet more inventions designed to use up the energy we didnt use as a result of the aforementioned labour saving devices  [laugh].

I havent minded wood stacking... but the last few years the novelty is beginning to wane  ;).

If I owned property with a wood lot I would have incorporated wood heat into the new house, and I still could add an outdoor wood boiler, but with the cost of wood these days and the amount of wood those units consume it isn't cost effective.

I don't want the mess associated with wood in the new house, nor do I want to supply fresh air to be able to burn it.

If I really miss seeing a flame and smelling like woodsmoke...I'll go outside and light a campfire.  ;D

As far as the exercise...chasing constant motion will keep me fit. ;)

I hear ya.  Buying wood is about the most expensive way to make heat (and mess) there is.
