S2R side panels removal

Just removed the side panels!   The right side looks better than the left but overal I like the raw/cafe look of it better than with panels.

The zip tying on the right side got into jerry rig territory but came out not bad.  On the left side, the boot that connects with the spark plug (don't know what that is called) was left in place.  Has anyone with removed panels relocated that thing and then cut its originl bracket off for a cleaner look?

I'm happy with the way it is but perhaps later on I will relocate it if possible.  Getting rid of the plastic tube that goes from the crank case to the overflow oil/air would be nice but then again I don't want the oil spray that comes with a crank case breather so I will let that be.

Another issue is the passenger peg bracket...kind of takes away from the look.  I'm just going to leave them there though.  Probably just spray paint the head of the peg bolts black (color of my frame) and screw them in so there isn't two empty holes.  If you want a more rugged look for your bike this is the mod.  [thumbsup]

just paint those side panel brackets black.
they'll "disappear".
