Chaz!!  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

Laverty & Sykes.  [bang]

The Ducs looked terrible. Granted, all their riders are battling injuries...but it wouldn't have mattered. You can't give up 20+ km/hr on that humongous straight. They should do better at other tracks.

Raux

Checa says the bike has trouble in the corners... hmmmm... where have we heard that about that frame  [laugh]

duccarlos

He wasn't losing out that much in the corners. Did he say this on a post race interview?

my keyboard just served me with paternity suit.

Raux

Carlos Checa: ‘I think there has been some improvement on the chassis side, although I still had trouble through the corners â€" in race one I was struggling to find the apex.'

duccarlos

How could there be improvements on the chassis side? There is no chassis.

Checa was having problems with understeer in both races.

Wouldn't have mattered if he didn't though.

Man I need to catch up on WSBk technology! I didn't know that they had moved on to bikes with no wheels, suspensions, swingarms or adjustments of any kind...  [cheeky]

Frameless =/= Chassis-less. There is still a chassis ya goof.

It was reported on Eurosport that Checa was thrown from a go kart at a press event on Thursday.

Somebody please tell Checa he's a bit too old to be racing 'karts for publicity stunts.....who's the moron (at Dorna?) dreaming these things up?  [roll]

Grampa

the supersport race was betta.

poor sam
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Some people call 911..... some people are 911

I never watched the Supersports before. Like BP said, it was a good race.  Interesting that there are no Suzukis in the field. Lots of Hondas instead. Funny that in the U.S. the Honda presence is very small.  I thought I heard that MV was running at least one F3 though.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

duccarlos

I must say that Chaz was on a mission. The Eurosport announcers kept saying that with a 5 second lead he could back off at least a bit.

WSS are almost always good races.  [thumbsup]

Bike choices are indeed very interesting. 600 cc club racing in the US is dominated by R6s mainly, and then GSXR600s, followed by a few Hondas, Kawis, & Duc 848s. Funny how WSS is dominated by Hondas and Kawis...almost the exact opposite.
