the friend i just moved up there works a block or so away and was right in the area that one of them went off.
luckily for here and her co-worker, she hates crowds so they left about 30 min before it went off.

she is safe.

i can't watch the news anymore. i'll check it again later to get an update.
this is crazy.

those who did this are COWARDS!!!!!!!!!!  I hope they find the idiot(s) who did this horrible act.  I can't say more for fear of locking the thread, suffice to say that they deserve what's coming to them.

I'm in lower NYC today..  most left for home all ready but you we're still on high alert it seems..

there have always been, and will always be, predators and prey.

to think/wish/hope that we as a species will fix that, is wasted time. time better spent honoring the good among us.

my heart goes out to all who suffer at the hands of a predator.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

I think there is a difference between predators and cowards. These type of attacks are done by cowards. You don't like me? Stand in front of me and take your best shot .

i agree that they are cowards, but they see themselves as preditors. imo
