I used some free paint and activator on my tool box once and it took more than 6 months for it to fully cure. Its still painted that way.

I hope you don't get bit in the ass.

I trust this guy, he prefers to give these to me than to have it in the shop and "get lost", he knows I always send customers  ;D

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

you park on the street?

Yup.

Stella's hoopty Jeep, a few motos, a bunch of tools, way too many bikes and a bunch of other stuff park in the garage.

City living.  Love it.

unless of course, I could afford a secluded place in the mountains

MendoDave

Isnt that one of those Toyota FJ cruisers?

I like the way they look. Would you recommend one?

Yes.  I get paid to!  ;D

In all seriousness, they aren't for everyone.

Cargo space isn't the greatest, and access to the second row can be tight.  Blind spots have been an issue for some folks, but I've never had an issue (it's amazing what properly aimed mirrors can do  ;) ).

Off road, they are amazing, although the stock tires probably won't last long or be your friend on really rugged trails.

They have a surprisingly good feel on road.

Mileage is not good, as it has the aerodynamics of a rounded brick.  The mileage isn't heinous either. 18ish mpg in mixed driving with a 6-spd manual and fairly tall gears.

Not bad bout 1 mpg better than my GMC Jimmy. Mostly I like the way the FJs look. kind of like a toy.

Id like to get a ML 320, the diesel would be real nice but my wish list is long...

If you can find one, get the ML55 instead.  Much better built.  Better fit & finish.  Not a huge price difference used.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
