Yup.  When we've (by which I mean "they've") used up our monthly allocation it throttles back from "pedestrian" to "zimmer frame".

Right now its completely awol though.  I'm scanning the night sky looking for the burn-up on re-entry.

Satellite's back. 

Mobile connection kept dropping out too (we really dont get any mobile phone coverage here, yet some days it works really well for hours.  Not today though).

We have no real choices either.  Mobile which cannot be relied upon or expensive, slow sat.

Price we pay  ;)
