Just had some Clown Shoes 'Supa Hero' IPA. Not the hoppiest IPA I've ever had, but had a very nice taste and a super nice head that refused to dissipate.

The brewery is out of Boston and has a "unique" schtick.

Had the Barrel Aged Baltic Porter last night at "our" fav brewery.  Oh my goodness....

Always finish with a Mexican Chocolate Stout.  It's like taking a leisurely stroll in a (beer) garden then walking into a clothes line when the chili pepper kicks in.  But it's the best in its category.   [drool]

Soooo many great beers, I'd have a hard time picking just one brewery, never mind one beer. Basically everything from Ommegang is great...Founders...Avery...Allagash...

Lately I've been mostly gravitating towards doubles, triples and quads, though the number of great brewers right around me has me sampling all sorts of different styles. Night Shift Brewing, Idle Hands, and Mystic are all located near me, so Saturday runs to all three for growler fills are not uncommon. Slumbrew and Pretty Things are also favorites...mmmmm, Pretty Things....

Ungh - Clown shoes.

They had a stand set up at a local fest a couple years back. I'm not one to waste beer, but I poured their stuff in a planter. It was awful IMO

Zooom got me some Flying Fish Exit 8 for my b-day. That is some great beer.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

If you can imagine a full bodied beer with a hint of a dry & buttery Cabernet Sauvignon.  I enjoyed it, but I'm betting this is a love it or hate it beer that someone would just have to try.

i'll go with the Carlsberg (= but at this point i have to say that maybe i have tried only 0.0001% of the beers in the world. we have like only 20 brands in Turkey. the most popular brands are Efes and Tuborg. i don't have you guys ever tried Efes, they say it tastes good outside Turkey but the local Efes sucks. Tuborg is way much better.

Lunch beer: Raccoon River Brewing Co. Bandit IPA.
Stone Cutter Stout is out of season or I would have gotten my favorite, an Oatmeal Cookie (half Stone Cutter Stout and half Vanilla Porter).
