Jason here, from Charleston, SC.

Just bought my first 'asphalt' bike ever, a 1998 Ducati Monster 750.

I grew up riding quads/dirt bikes, but gave them up after I flipped my quad back in high school. It wasn't that I was scared to ride or anything, just never got the old quad fixed and never bought a new one - I moved 'up' to Wranglers lol

I have always wanted a bike to ride on the road, though, and finally found a great deal on this Monster. I've only been riding a couple weeks on the road at this point, but like I said I rode quads/dirt bikes for years when I was younger.

Being in South Carolina, I am a huge Gamecocks fan (and a graduate)... I joined this forum because I'd like to learn more about maintenance/customization/repair for my Monster. I'd really like to pick up some strong experience with this bike and apply it to restoring an older bike in the near future.
