I have since gotten the vest below and a fun pink and red helmet. I feel like people do see me better now and I don't care if I look ridiculous!

I also wave my hand in the air if the driver seems distracted and I do little swerve movements when coming on to a shopping center intersection (I live right next to a Costco). Being in the right lane position is also key to being seen!

I've been toying with ways to be more visible. This is just about the cutest!

There is the invisibility factor or worse-they can't stop looking at me and get target fixation and just keep coming at me!

Thanks! I love it, since then I have just got material and made my own with different colors, I switch them out every so often.

I always get compliments on it wherever I go
