are we any closer to any kind of choosing of a date?

Well...

since no one besides herm has requested a date I have to assume it only matters to he and the painter family. Since he's attended every gathering except when he had that bogus wedding to attend and we had an extra DIMBY to accommodate him, and the fact that I can only stand drinking that much a finite number of times a year...

unless T overrules me when she gets home in an hour or so I'll say Fri-Sat-Sun August 9-10- and 11.
