The monster can handle the commuting heat just fine.  Once the fans kick in I've never seen it over 215.  It also benefits from the naked factor with no plastic to hold the heat in.  I've been really down on it since I put the slipper clutch in.  Maybe I just need to do away with that and get back to something real.

The P.O. put Pazzo shorties on it.  I've changed the clutch side back to full length so it's not such a bear in traffic.  Maybe I already have what I need.  The monster for commute, and the 998 for the weekend snake rides.

Funny you mention the CBR 6.  That's been a concept for quite some time.  The consummate chick bike.  Problem is I think my brother is back in the banditos and he'd likely have to hang himself out of professional courtesy if rode a CBR 6.

'07 S4RS and '04 998 Matrix.  Because sometimes I feel like a monster, and sometimes I don't.

That's where the 848 fans kick in too.  I know the theory the engineers put forth but that number just bothers me greatly.  I hate it.  I like 180 or 190 in traffic.  At speed the 848 runs even cooler.

Maybe you do but it you like the Monster then you'd love an 848 Streetfighter.  If you can live without the fairings, that is.

Ask Mark Marquez about that.   ;D

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

I just had a response asking what the present condition of mine was and to reply to a personal email.  I don't think that's the right question to ask.  A real interested person would say something like "When can I see it, where can I see it? Stuff like that.

There was, briefly,  another street fighter 1098 S with only 600 miles on it with lots of upgrades.  Posting gone already.   ???

I think the seller wanted more than the stock bike down at SS but then it had lots more goodies on it too.    ???

Was it a 2010 with a full Remus exhaust?

Nope. I know the one that you are thinking of.  This one looked just like the one down at SS except it had Termi exhaust cans and lots of gold Rizoma parts.  Wonder what happened?

I think I know of the guy...the type that buys a vehicle, mods it out and then the thrill is gone...
