ya i actually JUST returned this GIVI one cuz i opened it up and saw a ridiculous number of straps.....

im either debating something small just for everyday carry items like this

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/bags-connection-navi-bag-pouch-for-quick-lock-tankbags-and-gadget-mounts-large

or might even go with the twistedthrottle gas cap adapter and one of the smaller bags like this

does anybody have any opinions on this one???

might give that one a try...not sure tho.......

I had purchased an Givi "tanklock" bag as it had a neat bracket that attached to the gas cap.  Sadly the new Evo's don't have any bolts on the gas cap so I had to return it.  They came out with a new bracket that is monstrous and attaches to the bolts on the plastic center strip.  Hideous is an under statement so I would have to either never take the tank bag off or remove the bracket when I go for local blasts.....   FUGLY!

I decided on a small fanny pack for wallet, keys, glasses, etc.  Going to find a nice tail pack for over nighters.

Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.
Feel free to PM me if needed, otherwise you will find me elsewhere.

yea thats exactly wut im afraid of as well...the UGLY factor...

which is why i realy doubt imma go with sw motech or twisted throttle or wutever because of the horseshoe sticking off the top of the gas tank! and that adapter for newer gen monsters are 70-100 bux! for a horseshoe...lol...

just got confirmation that the stratos suction cup one will fit on my bike...might just go even cheaper and do a little rucksack thing as well (fannypack styles) haha will have to keep all that in mind cuz im just about to order more CF parts and goodies from Jeff at monsterparts.............haha....budgeting..

thanks for your input tho! definitely made me cross that option out!

Wow

very interesting idea...hmmmmm...so many options i never knew to even think of!!

thanks for your input!! i might honestly just stick with my dainese backpack and cop some sort of cheap pack i can wear under my jacket for my small items for daily stuff...figure the "naked" look doesnt really appeal to me if i were to mount any sort of bag on the tank...damn! thanks for everyones input tho!

man always so amazed at all the creative ppl in this world and especially this forum ;)

For a stealth look, this is similar to what I used for two small sized tank bags.
The largest being the strap mount version of this (cut the straps off)

These links are just examples to illustrate the idea.
Make sure they fit each other and that the peg will work on your bike.

My Givi bag just has four looped strap which I attach to the trellis, and the backpack straps for off the bike.  It was $50 too. [thumbsup]
