the hard part is to hit them JUST right so the meat is tenderized, without rupturing the internal organs.  Tastes like chicken.   [coffee]

you don't mean that  >:(

Finding the owner is not only the right thing to do, it is a brave act [thumbsup]

agreed... you are a brave person  [thumbsup]

Good on ya for looking for the owner. I woke up this morning to a very flat cat in the middle of our street, and I got to do the unpleasant task of walking the neighborhood to try to find out if it belonged to anyone. No fun, and I sure wish the driver who'd done it had the stones to have made the attempt.

i have to say, i'm surprised at the "good job for looking" sentiment here.  just seemed obvious to us.  not like it was an option.

Well, like I said, there IS an option to just keep on rolling, as I found this morning. You chose different, and chose right.

apparently this was a 17 year old cat who constantly ran back and forth across the street.

Sounds like the cat might be tired of living.  Bit of a deathwish?
