It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years.
Kevin(monsterlover) encouraged me to get off my arse and put my bike back together at long last.
So, for the last few weeks i've been spending as much time as possible doing just that.
For those of you that graciously donated parts or gave me the best friend discount, i've uploaded some pics so that you can see where your parts ended up.
Please overlook the dirt and grime. I will clean it up nicely once the work is all done.

I still need to come up with a creative way to mount my pee cups.

All tucked in and waiting for my tank to come home from the body shop.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

That's the plan, for now anyway. Fingers are crossed.

I was trying to to do a much better write up but kept getting computer errors.
The new bars i made from solid stock are tapped on the inside end for extra mounting options
The mirrors were for 1-1/8 bars, so i made spacers for them.
The dual rotor setup is on hold until my calipers arrive. Just got word that i'm recieving a wheel instead. Not a problem though, mix ups happen.
And i made some custom adapters(not installed in the photos) to reorient the brake lines to the stock position with the new masters.
And, i also made the new bar plugs from black delrin.
It's all coming together like a charm.
I trickled a little fuel into the carbs and she fired right up, with good oil pressure even.
Oh, i fixed my starter sprag too. [thumbsup]

Great to see it coming back together. My father-in-law likes to ride my 620 better than his Harley so I sometimes keep it in his garage. He was just asking me about my pegs about a week ago. Told him the whole story. Was wondering whatever happened with the rebuild.

 ITS ALIVE!!
Got my tank back and installed today.
There's still a lot to be done, but the hard part is over.

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

I started working on mounting my fluid reservoirs today.
Made this without taking any measurements whatsoever.

So, that's one down.

And one to go.

Was having trouble getting my shifter position set to my liking, so i made a new linkage.
It's 5/8 " longer than stock and allowed me to lower the pedal and still have plenty of thread engagement on the swivels. It's also slightly smaller in diameter so as not to rub the kickstand while shifting.

Got the second one done today.

It turned out a bit taller than i intended, i may be shortening it.
The up side is that i can see my oil pressure guage.
