I havent run across this info before, so if its a derby sorry.

I emailed Ducati earlier last week about the S4RS production numbers. they weren't able to give me a specific break down of destination or color but here are the numbers starting in 2006 and ending in 2008:

2006 - 3560
2007 - 1375
2008 - 783

Im guessing these are global, but if anyone has more specific info please post it up.

Yours has a much nicer paint scheme than the tri-colore. Worth much more.

Since they came in three colours, that may mean I have one of fewer than 500 red 2007s worldwide. Talk about limited!

That is if the numbers are global. They do sound a bit low, I have to say.

Then again, this from an article at rideapart.com:

So could the S4Rs have made up 14 per cent of US sales in 07? Or less likely still, more than 36 per cent of US Ducati sales in 06?

Does not sound very likely. So, these probably are not US-only figures.

On a global basis, that would give the S4Rs nearly 10 per cent of total Ducati production in the year of release, which sounds plausible to me, and about 5 per cent the following year (when they also started to build the S4RT).

$50,000 to $60,000 if it's a pearl white one.

Yeah I'm not sure why they couldn't provide the color breakdown.
My 07 seems to have been built and sold in 06 and I was hoping to see how many black w/silver were produced that year. (Mostly so I can confirm my $80k+ Craigslist price)
