What's wrong with a good ole F-150?
[thumbsup]
I traded my 250 in for a 150 1 month ago. Fantastic truck. Excellent road manners, good pull from the Ecoboost, solid on unpaved/rutted tracks which is as extreme as I've used it on so far. Much better price and fuel economy than the tundra. Cue Randy's response in 3...2...1...

My soul said I wanted another Jeep (my fourth), so my trusty F150 was swapped for one before the sometime-inevitable needs and repairs started in. I had intentions of buying another F150 to replace it, but at the time you couldn't get the EcoBoost in a regular cab shortbox with 4WD.  :P

And now the news on the '14 F150 Tremor comes out.  [bang]

That 250 was pretty nice too.

My '04 F150 burned up three transmissions in 17000 miles. Sold it after the last one was replaced. Never again.

It was  :)
But I moved recently and parking that big boy was creating problems.

I've heard of problems with 250 transmissions, but not with a 150 before. That sucks.

I had an '08...no issues at all.

Biased or not, I'd still take the Tundra over the Titan.

The new full size Chevy/GMCs are coming very soon too. The GMCs look a lot better and you really can't go wrong with a pushrod V8 for reliability. I wish I waited instead of getting a Tacoma.

a full size gmc is a very different animal than a tacoma....

I couldn't agree with you more, but the new V6 gets better MPGs than my I4 and makes loads more HP/Torque. Best of both worlds.

Tundra vs Titan? I'd go Tundra, and I'm a Nissan fan. My dad has a Titan and hasn't had great luck with it.
When I was looking to replace my 02 F150 with a larger 4X4, I looked at all the players (except for Chevy, I'll never own one). The Tundra was the most powerful and IMO, the best looking. But, bang for the buck landed me in another F150 and I don't regret it. Love the truck, has plenty of power, and was priced appropriately. Now, this was in 09 and it has the 5.4 V8.
I still love the looks of the Tundras, but I can't justify the price difference.

I'd wait a couple months and get the new Dodge Ram 1500 diesel, it's supposed to be available in September.

The same engine in the Jeep gets 30mpg on the highway  ;D
