Diavel/Multistrada type splash guard for S*R monsters.

Since I'm touring a lot on my monster, I have not yet done a tailchop.
Its hard making a compromise when the bike looks fugly with the frame sticking so far back, while I still don't want my back full of water and dirt when its raining.

Then I thought of the splash guard from the Diavel and Multistrada. Have anyone seen something like this on a S*R monster?
Could it be modded from a Diavel type? Or made from scratch myself?

Any input?

I'll be very surprised if a homemade, and probaly the Rizoma piece too, won't shake until it breaks. The movements are violent - even more so at the end of a 'stick'.

How about a plastic piece, 16-18-20 inches long and 3-4 inches wide, bolted on with two wing-nuts to the under-seat tray - forward and hidden most days - rearward and protective in the rain....
252,000 km/seventeen years - loving it

@Stoppintime
That is my backup solution. Im still looking for a splash guard type solution connected to the SA.
If I could get one cheap I would have bought a one from a multistrada Multistrada and try to find a solution mount it to my swing arm.

Alternaltives are the two small bolts fastening the rear chain guard. Pinch clamp bolts could also be used, although I would rather not mess with them.

 The BMW R GS series has one hanging off of the end of the swingarm that seems to survive quite nicely. I don't think that they are a problem as far as durability goes.

Depends on the roads.  They are a removal/replacement item if you ride on rough roads/dirt according to some owners (and I removed mine when I had it).

My monster wont see the ruff roads many of the bmw gs bikes does, so Im pretty safe there.

from what I'm seeing the eccentric of the MTS has two cutouts with tapped holes for their mount.

also, what i think may be true is teh eccentrics are swappable.
