I just entered a lottery pool at work this morning, and, upon winning this will be my first purchase.   ;D  Favorite custom bike I've ever seen, hands down.

I'd bet it's less scary to ride than a stock D16RR.

Man that thing sounds positively wicked...

Oh well, I'll have to dream on.  I'm gonna finish up my workday, gear up, fire up the Cagiva with it's 904 desmodue and Remus Ti pipes, and have a little fun of my own on the twisty road home. [evil]

Have you heard a Desmo in person? It's not like any of the Ducs I've owned. I love how my bikes sound but the Desmo is on another level of awesomeness. You can kind of hear a hint of it in that video, the raspiness. This one goes to 11 applies.

At first my old eyes read your final sentence as "This one goes to 11 apples."
I said to myself I've never heard that term... I like it!  [laugh]

In comparison my old Monster only goes to about 7 apples.  ;)

Did they change the ad format?  I coulda sworn when I first looked at it they were asking somewhere north of $50k... now it has a starting bid of $35k and no bids.

I think they put the starting bid lower to inspire some bidding....the reserve is probably still in the same range if I had to guess....
