Hi All,

Coming up on my 7500 soon and am not feeling all that confident about the service department at my local dealer.  Does anyone on the board have any experience with Duc shops in the Sacramento California area?  Any horror stories?  If you have horror stories please PM them to me so we don't get into a bash fest.

Thanks!

Feel free to PM me if needed, otherwise you will find me elsewhere.

How close to Modesto are you?

Don Babb wrenches at this shop, ex Ducati tech, Dyno and suspension work. This is where my bike is going this winter for suspension and power commander install.

Ah, Yes!
He works on all my bikes. He's honest,
reasonable and quick turn around. Highly
Recommended!

I will give him a call.  What I really want is a Duc Guru to walk me through how to do the valves and service.  I hate other people wrenching on my bikes.......
Given I have hardly seen another Duc out here East of Sacramento that might be a tall order lol.

Either way I have gotten quite a few recommendations for Don, even some PM'd.  Looks like I am going to trailer the bike to Modesto soon ( :

thanks all!

+1 for Don. He did most the work on my S2R before Modesto Ducati closed down. I am not sure if he will show you how to do it. That is taking business away from him.

Whoo hoo +10 for Bay Area Motoshop!  I am pretty mechanical however having never messed with the Duc (past parts changing) having a place like that to learn is amazing!  For 250.00 I can work through my entire 7500 mile service.  Freaking great deal.

Sacramento City College had a motorcycle repair class that was taught by at least two Ducati Techs. You might check there.
