The bike has 1450 miles on it, so it's essentially new.  I'm going to check with SSD about after market warranty availability, otherwise I think I'll pass...kind of apprehensive about a bike that has been sitting for so long without being exercised and I like the warm & IZ_ feeling of a warranty...

I would check on a warranty but maybe not necessarily through SSD.  Unless they give you a good deal.  You might be able to find a better deal on your own.  I might could help.  I wouldn't be that scared of the low mileage. As a matter of fact if circumstances were a bit different I'd make a move on it. If now were next year it could be different.  But the R12S is good.

Checked on a warranty through SSD yesterday...complete coverage, no deductible, $1200 for 3 years.

Going to take a pass on this one though, because as cool as it would be, I just don't want to do the same mods to the same bike all over again...I want to try something different, variety is the spice of life ya know... [evil]
