The 4C is one of the *very few* cars my wife might approve of trading the Sky for.  Although the new bug-eye/composite headlamps might kill the deal.  :-\

She has stated if they ever put the 2uettottanta into production, we're buying one, come hell or high water.  She has that as her laptop wallpaper:



We'll see what happens with the rumored 2015 Spider.  Supposedly a shared platform with the new Miata... which means it should have legit motorsport chops, but with Alfa's Italian styling.

I am not a fan of the Alfa.  It looks like a Miata with a body kit.  A chick car anywhere but the racetrack.  ;D 

Granted Miata's are are a ton of fun to drive so I would imagine the Alfa fun to drive as well.  If it were priced like a Miata it could be a great value.  If priced like a Elise or and Exige then it is not a contender.  Heck I think I even like the Sky you already have a bit more.more.......  It does have cool lights though.

I used to think Miatas were chick cars, or like old British roadsters: better for cruising around in the sunshine with the top down.

Then I subscribed to Grassroots Motorsports.  Holy crap, there are some hardcore Miatas in the autocross and track scene.  :o
