Actually I was referring to the part numbers in the .pdf files available from Ducati.

I suppose they could have all been updated by now as those original files are 12 years old.  :-\

sorry, didn't get that.  which part numbers?

Ok - then I'll do it  [beer]

Cheers. Something I always wanted to do.
If I get my Elefant I will look at getting more out of the Monster.
Are DS motors affordable enough to mean you dont have to do the MBP$$$ build?

Throttle bodies and injectors are listed with different part numbers for the 750 and 900 Monsters in the parts .pdf files on the Ducati site.

2002 750ie has 282.4.033.1A throttle bodies and 280.4.007.1A injectors (iwp043).

2002 900ie has 282.4.035.1A throttle bodies and 280.4.007.1A injectors.

the throttle body # are different as the base idle setting will be different - 1.3 vs 2.2 degrees or the like, and the idea is you just buy them and fit them.  as it's a compete assembly setting the throttles up is theoretically not required.

is that what you mean?

I guess so.

I did a '01 900 and an '02 750 and came up with different numbers.

It really doesn't matter.

all the m900ie catalogues I have have the 28040071A injectors, the iwp043 brown pico injectors.  750/900ssie will have 21A, being the old iw031 green end flow.

they actually flow fairly similar amounts, and i'd expect the 043 pico are meant to be the replacement as such for the iw031 in the injector range.  but the monster fuelling is quite a bit leaner at low throttle from memory, like 20% less maybe, and about the same at wot.  so the 043 might flow more dynamically, sort of thing.  the white injectors in the later monsters are 12 hole versions of the 043 afaik.  which often flow more dynamically again.  the yellow 069 (998, 999, 748r) and pink 189 (s4rs, 1098, etc) are nominally the same, but dynamically the 189 flow 12% ish more I believe.
