...just usage of the word kid makes me think of people younger than high school age

[daddy hat on]

They will always be "kids" to parents--mainly because they never stop askin' for stuff.  :P

so do you show the "gun room" to the guys she brings over on their first visit, or do you wait a little while?

it's no problem man...they were cheapo sunglasses from academy or something.  i'll make a note to stop off somewhere en route to charles' to grab some.  thanks for looking, though   [thumbsup]   (maybe greg snatched them up...they were pretty awesome.  i saw him the other day at shlotsky's on greenville...he had the roadrunner out for a spin...awesome car).

Did you see the blue Superbird with the giant wing?

He built that car from a rusted heap and many boxes of disassembled parts, and did all the paint and body and interior himself.  440 six-pack engine.  Perfect.

Some stupid pregnant dog rearended him the other day at a redlight.  Crammed the bumper up into the gas tank and bulged both rear quarter panels out.  Not a happy day for Uncle Greggie.

I'll keep an eye out for him sporting any new shades, but if it didn't come from the 70's, he's probably not interested...  ;D

I think she usually tells them about it.  How did you know about the gun room?

awwwe...DUDE!  that sucks ass, i'm really sorry to hear that.  we were only talking for a minute or two, and i don't think he could possibly convey how much time he spent on that car...man that sucks.  did he get to pregnant dog slap her or something?  that should be a requirement, along with the necessary insurance payout.  hopefully he'll be able to do the repairs without too much trouble.

and yes, that wing is truly giant...

I guess that's about right.  She still seems pretty kid-like to me.

<edit> unless I was really really drunk.  But I don't think I did.  (honest)

She doesn't know how lucky she is to still be breathing...

He had to threaten the responding Dallas Police Officer to prepare an accident report, which is required by his collector’s insurance.  Officer did not want to do so.  Greg had to inform him of his current profession (lawyer) and that his (Greg's) Dallas PD Badge Number was about 2,000 lower than the Officer's.
