The prices at that particular auction will be out of my league.

Besides...I didn't put a garage sized door into the new house. ;D

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I dont think they were keeping the vehicles with a view to their future sale  ;)

Parked, just as they were traded.

Traded??  The ones I saw were brand new with MSOs on them and 1-10 miles on the odo

They got new cars and never sold them.

That too.  Point is they kept 'em.... without any thought to their future value.  Just kept 'em.

my stuff is a bit more weathered
Now if my Chevelle were in such a never been used state, holy crap would that go for a lot!
The stuff there is going to go for a lot more money than the restored version of the same.

I'm going to take a break from building after this house is done. ;)

I heard about this on NPR, apparently the owner of the dealership had a policy of pulling unsold cars off the lot when the next model year came out. Some he kept indoors, but most were just left in the back lot.

And yet, somehow this dealership went out of business.

Strange...
