Actually I removed the U-Bracket to lower my gauges and just have it mounted with the OEM side mounting brackets a longer bolt than what shipped with it and black spacers that the bolts go through on each side.

I'll jump on this thread.

Only thing I'd done at this point was put on cheap-o bar end mirrors, oil change and new belts. April 2013

Since then, new QD X-box, rizoma clutch cover, DP clutch pressure plate, ASV levers, Oberon mirrors, belly pan, cycle cat rearsets, belly pan, rear hugger, integrated tail light, tidy tail, barracuda front blinkers, PC3 w/dyno tune and ditched the front fairing. As of August 2013

Damn you people.  Now I want to buy an older monster in addition to my 696 so I have a project bike to work on...  [bang]

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

Considering how appropriate this thread is to the forum ... it would be sad to let it die off again. Below are pics of the old girl when she was a sweet young thing back in 2005 accompanied by some recent pics. All that time and I haven't changed a thing.

I liked the pipes you had on it the first round......     Great looking rest of the bike though.   :)
