I remember those being raced in the British touring car championship in the mid 60s by my hero Jim Clark who also raced Lotus Cortina's, both with great success, wonderful times... [bow_down]

I had a Lotus Cortina for a while...it was a hoot.

My dad also sponsored a drag car very much like the one in the vid.

I love that he's left it all ratty and nasty.

But I'd have to at least fine tune it to the Nth degree, so as not to be blown into the weeds by any turbo Subaru. At least in a straight line.
