I don't mind a commercial-grade dishwasher, but a cursory search of the world does not reveal Wolf-brand dishwashers.  Mostly fridges and ovens it looks like.

the Bosch's appear to get mixed reviews... I'm assuming there's a price point in there line that bumps the reliability.

I haven't seen anything bad about the Miele except for customer service stuff.

We have an LG.  It sings a happy little song after it is done sounding like an industrial threshing machine for 3 hours and not cleaning my dishes.  It used to work pretty well, but now it doesn't.

Asko were a top brand for quite awhile, not sure now.
Very robust, reliable, effective machines and the first to have kid locks in the 80s.

Don't buy GE Monogram.
Pisses me off every time I go into my kitchen.  Every piece has has a substantive flaw......Shouldn't "High End" shit last more than 5 years and one month?

My friend has a Hobart commercial dishwasher.  2 minute  wash cycle and requires its own hood.  Don't even think about putting plastic in that thing.

My two previous homes had the KitchenAid Superba dishwashers and they were fantastic.  Did a great job cleaning the dishes and uber quiet.  I never lived in either home long enough to worry about durability issues.  :P

I now have a really cheap Frigidaire model that I'm pretty sure my neighbors can hear.

We have a Miele.

It is awesome.  They use a top drawer for silverware which frees up a lot of space.  And they clean exceptionally well, but they are not cheap -- and they have a warranty which makes it worthwhile.

They also have the best sound insulation, bar none.  You will not know the dishwasher is running at all unless you have your face on the front.

I can't overemphasize how good they are and how useful the silverware drawer is.

Bosch and Miele basically have the same pump, etc but the Miele have better features.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

The one in that pic is around $2,700.
MSRP?

That's definitely not cheap.

We just got a Miele. We're renovating the kitchen, and had no dishwasher before.

We went with Miele over Bosch for the same reasons, and the top mounted silverware rack is a nice feature. We've only washed 3 loads so far, but it is very quiet.

I found that after.

They have a lower end line with the features of the high end model, but not quite as quiet.

It would be a possibility.

Miele - 10 year warranty.  Can't beat that.

A Futura, but they are all called that.  Ours cost about 1200 but I think the MSRP was like 1800. The warranty was a big part of the deal for us plus the sound and silverware tray.

And to be sure, we bought it in 2008 and I would buy it again in a minute.  We've had no problems whatsoever.  My SiL bought one too around the same time and it is doing nicely as well.

**edit  Ithink they have a TOP TOP of the line model called Futura Diamond, but ours is a regular Futura.  They have similar features, but I think the Diamond series comes with more and also with a midget to install it.

It seems the major differences are the sound levels.

We're looking at appliances for the new house, and this one sounds like a real winner based on the warranty and features.
