Does anyone own a Multistrada 620?

I am looking at using a multistrada 620 exhaust to try to make a 2 into 1 exhaust for my bike.  I figure it should work with the engine and swing arm as they are the same as the parts used on my Monster, DSS.  I was hoping someone could get me some measurements from the swingarm nut to the exhaust mount so I can see if I will have to fab up a new mount & from the swingarm to the peg bracket to see if I will need to space those out or not.  Thanks.

It is my understanding that the DSS swingarm differs slightly between the multi and the monster.

Thanks for that link, I had searched & had no luck finding any info on it.  From pics it looked to be the same swingarm & I seam to remember a show bike some time back that had multistrada exhaust on it.

Looking closer at pics I can see now that it is a different swingarm, the suspension link is moved further back & it does have a notch on the right side for exhaust clearance.  I cant tell how much different the location of the header pipe is, it passes in front of the suspension cross brace on the multi instead of through a hole in the swingarm as on the monster.  It does pass through the correct side of the swingarm, but as it was Stew that posted that it would not work my guess is that he had some FHE.

Maybe it will work with some modifications?  It would still be a lot simpler than fabricating a new exhaust system from scratch.  I had a similar idea a few years ago and I have an ebay Multistrada exhaust still sitting in a box somewhere.  I can take measurements if it might help.

Thank you for the offer, I am not sure if acurate measurements can be taken off the bike.  I am guessing the interferiance points would be the rear exhaust header to the swingarm & the collector/cat to the swingarm.  Extra clearnace should be able to be gained there by using a catless mid pipe.  Full multi 620 exhaust does not look expensive on EBay but it would not be fun to pull the exhaust off the monster to find out if it fits or not.

I no longer have a DSS monster to compare swingarms.

The bend around the swingarm will likely be a sticking point regardless of catless or not.  Memory tells me there is no room for a pipe between the stock rearset and the swingarm on the Monster.

The multi exhaust does fit on the SSS monster if you cut that bend off... but I have raised the rear some, too.

Is the bend you are refering to after the 2 pipes merge & the cat attatches?  If so that is a sign of good news.  If it did work I was expecting to have to space the foot peg brackets out similar to when installing high mount exhaust, but that is also dependent on the pipe comming out in the correct possition.  Did you post any pics of the install on the S2R?  If so I will have  to track that thread down & look.  Thank you for the info.

The cat was just above the cut, and the rest of the exhaust fouled the top "beam" of the swing arm.
