Ab and Bob, I put together the following review showing all the info and my likes and dislikes.  I also included footage on my FJR as well.  If any other questions, let me know!

Thank you Darc_duc for the detailed review and answering our questions.  Really appreciate it.

Do you think a gopro hero2 would mount on it?  Assuming just Velcro it?

My ultimate goal is to mount it on the rear cowl and get a shot of rider leaning etc and the road - the same shot as Motogp.  If you ever take a shot like that, please post the link here :)

ab, unfortunately, the Hero 2 won't work with this gimbal.  The camera holder is formed just for the hero 3.  The gimbal is also non adjustable so putting a heavier camera in it that can't be balanced will not let it operate correctly.  I also updated my original review as I changed the mount which should work better.  The new footage is at 1:37 and lasts until 3:07.

Darc_duc good to know about the hero2.  Good info on the aluminum plate you added.  Thanks again for your explanation and time posting the videos and sharing.  Ride safe!

No worries and I am glad to help!  I am a GoPro nerd so I will be experimenting a lot with this in the upcoming months and will post up as I sort stuff out.  Ride safe as well   [beer]
