There are bad calls in every game, that's not why they lost. Kapernicks turnovers were.
Keep in mind I had no dog in the NFC fight other than the lack of professionalism of some of the Seattle players as evidenced by the strangest post game interview I've ever seen. ???

The timing of those two calls forced situations.

I agree that the picks ultimately lost the game, but if SF had gotten a first down on the obvious roughing, not 'running in to' the kicker, or been given the ball on the goal line on the botched fumble call, the game might have turned out very different.

I never thought I'd have to root for Gomer. ;D

Richard was fired up, remember Crabtree had been talking shit about him. Had he made that catch roles would have reversed.

or been given the ball on the goal line on the botched fumble call, the game might have turned out very different.

The only bad call of the game that could have made a difference was the roughing the kicker call. Who knows on that one though, SF was way on their side of the field.

The one above call, c'mon! Sure, it was a bad call. But Lynch fumbled the next play, giving the Niners the ball back about 15 yards further from their end zone than where they would have got it if the right call was made! The only thing different that could have happened if the right call was made is the Seattle defense could have maybe gotten a safety!

As far as Sherman goes, he should have been more professional, and he was during the interview after the game. That said, I'm sure Crabtree and Boldin (biggest shit talker on the field) didn't say anything during and before the game though to get him that fired up.

I love the SF/Seattle rivalry. The last 2 times they met were the best games of the year, and it seems whoever is at home is likely to win...barely! Good stuff.  [thumbsup]

Kaep's turnovers weren't good, or really his fault (except for one), but SF lost because they couldn't stop Lynch. Seattle's offense was dead in the water without him...just like SF's was without Kaepernick.

The offenses weren't dead, the defenses were that make the beast with two backsing good. Old school NFL baby.  [bow_down]

Agreed. I didn't mean they bere bad offenses, just couldn't do anything against the great defenses...except for those 2 guys.

SB should be interesting...does offense or defense win games. We have the best of both on opposite sides of the ball.  [thumbsup]

Apparently the Sherman - Crabtree feud dates back to the off season when they both attended a charity event in Arizona, and Crabtree apparently tried to start a fight with Sherman. Sherman won't go into details publicly, but his brother has said this is the general issue. All Sherman will say on the subject is he's going to make Crabtree's life tough in the NFL every chance he gets!  [laugh]

I don't really care about the post-game crap. I do care that now I have to cheer for the Broncos in the SB. As a Raiders fan, it goes against my nature, but my hatred towards Petey and my love for the AFC counteract it.

What did Petey do to get you going against him? Violations at USC?

Just don't like the guy in general and the coaching staff and players are more likable in Denver. Basically a popularity contest.

Was hoping to see Denver have a shot at rectifying the SB XXIV blow-out at the hands of San Fran but Denver v. Seattle should be a better game for the old AFC West rivals.

Really?  I never thought of Seattle as rivaling anyone in their entire existance in the NFL (the current two-year Niners media-made rivalry notwithstanding).
