Doctors are going to start to reduce the sedatives to bring MS out of the induced coma.

I sincerely wish him and his family well. But I have to admit I have a feeling of dread about his condition. I keep waiting for a glimmer of positive news... and I keep waiting. My prayers and thoughts are with him, his wife and kids.
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

'Out of coma' can mean the start of a meaningful rehabilitation, or not much at all. From the sound of his manager's statement we might never hear news ever again - if there is no progress...

I'm afraid you're right, this will be the last press release.
Until the one announcing he's died from pneumonia or a UTI or the like.

I'm sure he's gotten the best care available on earth.

I sure hope that's not true.

I will continue to believe there is a glimmer of hope that we will see him visiting the track someday.

It is hard to think otherwise.

Over the years I've become more cynical, and have lowered my expectations and thus am disappointed less frequently.
