It wasn't easy finding one.   It's a 2005 625 SMC that came from Austin TX.  It's not exactly in the condition the seller claimed but I got a very good deal. So I can't complain.   Only 3,000 miles,  needs a new front tire fortunately I have one lying around.

Now I just have to wait for spring!

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

I think they arrest you just for having one of those in Baltimore(we have metro dirtbike gangs). I miss the Kawisaki KE series 2-strokes.

I wish someone had taken video of the first time I went off-roading on my 1200GS after not off-roading in about 12 years. I was ridding in the woods with a guy on a 350. I was later quite sore. I will say this, I went across a stream without checking how deep it was(I was doing about 40mph, and didn't have my depth finder, OK). Turns out it was deep enough to cover both my boots and my cylinders. Must have been an awesome splash, and I stayed up!
-p.s.
BMW's plastic luggage dose NOT hold up in off-road spills. :o

Yeah but those bikes won't have tags, or if they do they are probably lifted tags, mostly not street legal dirt bikes and riding w/o helmets, moto endorsement (or perhaps any license)

I need OEM parts for the adv and I am having trouble finding a place that sells them. Who do you guys buy from?

I'm not sure where the nearest dealer is, and don't want to pay their prices anyways.
