Dan from NJ.  I have a Monster 695.  I have been riding for about 5 years.  I also have a 1977 Honda CB550K I'll probably sell this season.  I am currently exploring wheel options, as I find the OEM 3 spokes a little boring.  Trying to identify which 5 spoke OEN wheels will swap in without issues.

Hey Dan.  If you like meeting good-natured riders, check out the NY-area Desmo Owners Club.  I am a limited participant, mainly because of my schedule, but I've found them to be a good bunch of guys with a love for bikes.  They do group rides, a fantastic trackday (no squids!  ), and other events like a BBQ, holiday party, and an "Oil Spill" mechanics day hangout.

Also, I just got new Oz Piega aluminum wheels for my bike and am too too excited to try them.  A lot of wheel threads on here, so you should be able to find some good research.
