Anyone get these adjustable pegs from ebay? I have a set from another shop on my bike and they work great but cost me 150. I'm wondering if these from hong kong are sturdy

They are okay.  You can tell that it's cheap quality.  The bolts rust right away, but can be easily replace with Stainless Steel.
honestly, I wouldn't buy it...you will find out that it would not match the bike.  Spend money on the complete rearset instead (if you have the opportunity to).

Shift Teck  [thumbsup] I have on my S2R great quality purchased from one of our board sponsers
Much cheaper than rearsets great grip and look good.

I bought a set of exactly the same ones in your link.
The design feature which you cant see to enable it too move is a very small gauge pin which
locks into one of a few holes around the fixing bolt.
It did not bestow much confidence I would not trust it in the event of full weight on the peg
if you were out of the seat going over a bump.
My wife got stranded when the bolt that secures the peg sheared sending the peg flying down the road
and her foot bouncing off the tar.
You can imagine the grief I recieved  [laugh] for having being a tight arse and buying those cheap  [puke]  dangerous
pegs for her bike and the nice ones on mine  :-[

Yeah, I bought a set a couple years ago and only rode a couple times with them before taking them off and putting the stock pegs back on.

Like Two Dogs, I did not trust them with putting my full weight on the pegs. They just seemed a little flimsy and flexed a little too much.

That flex was present in every pair of rearsets  tried, Till Rizomas.

I tried the pegs with the longer extensions from M-Factory. The boots I wanted to wear didn't fit well with the stock peg set up so I thought this extension set up would fix all that. But, I couldn't get an adjustment that felt comfortable so I took out the extension and reconnected their peg to the their mount resulting in the stock position. I've had them for about a month and no problems so far. I've stood on them numerous times when adjusting my pants after they climb up into my crotch and the pegs are fine.

Just my two cents. I have no connection to the company selling them.

Just picked up a set for my S2R1000, very poorly made. Not suprised given the price. I have had a couple of operations on my right knee and was looking for a bit more comfort by mounting the pegs down and slightly back. The bolt threads were poorly cut and there is quite a bit of slop when threaded in, i used lots of locktite. just installed them last night and have yet to test them. If they help with my knee, I may invest in a set of MFW Vario pegs from Germany. Same idea but much stronger and better designed, also much more expensive. I figured $45 was worth the price to see if the lower pegs help me but I have the stock pegs under the seat in case these pegs fall apart or break on the road.

****UPDATE****

Peg lasted about 30 miles, lifted my but off the seat to go over a bump and the left peg pulled off the bolt threads and bent down 45 deg. At about 175 lbs. I am no Dani Pedrosa featherweight but I'm no Andre the giant either! My gut feeling told me to carry the stock pegs under the seat, glad I listened for once.

DO NOT BUY THESE, they are dangerous junk.

Wow Gosling, that sucks. Let us know is you get the Vario pegs, I'd be interested in your feedback on those.

Cheers to those of you who literally put your asses on the line to bring us this information.

I would only add that one should avoid certain brand names of these as well such as SSR as they are likely the same thing.

Thankfully the pegs can be swaped out easily, even on the side of the road. I am a bit worried about the three piece design now but the Vario's have to be better and stronger, sure as heck could'nt be worse than the e-bay ones. Will do a bit more research on the MFW Vario pegs and maybe search for a one piece design with a 1" drop. Actually, the peg position on the S2R1K is not that bad, rode a friends Aprillia V4 Tuono, felt like the pegs were right under the seat.
