The Sprinter camper vans are really nice.  A buddy has one with the 2.5 in it.  Just wonderful.

Still ain't a maximog though.  ;D

MPG highway average: 9.5

And then I think about the 2.5 liter

EPA estimates for the E250 are 24 mpg city and 38 highway it probably isn't that much different for the sprinter.

I guess its actually a 2.1L diesel the 250 designation throws me off.

If you can afford the Maxi-Mog you don't care about the gasoline.  If I remember it starts at over a million with the trailer.  Hell it even comes with it's own drone as an option.  Makes deer hunting easier lol.

What you say is true. Thing is I'm not rollin like that, so i find the Sprinter to be much more appealing.

Yup I am WAY to poor for a maxi-mog.  To top that off I would expect to need security for it so the Earth First don't attack in my sleep.....

This is the closes I ever got to a Maxi-Mog.  I actually built it when I was flying gliders for a living.  Few things could off road like that and carry ten people and gliders and get 15mpg.
