Nonsense-anything you can purchase and resell for substantially more than you paid for it is a deal.

You didn't say it was for resale.

That indicated you spent thousands on a box for your own stuff

;D

I was gonna be nice and not say anything.  ;D

Since when is getting a good deal hinged upon actually selling the item? The rest of you have happily posted up things you've bought for your own use-I don't see the difference.

And "thousands" would be inaccurate.

A good deal is in the eye of the beholder.

Here's your box

http://store.snapon.com/KRA2423-Classic-96-Series-Roll-Cabs-Roll-Cab-Classic-96-Triple-Bank-17-Drawers-Royal-Blue-P769122.aspx

List is $5860. You said less than half of retail. That would range anywhere from free to $2929.99.

If you got it for $29xx.xx and sold it to make $500+ then good deal. If you paid that same amount to keep it for yourself, bad deal.

In my eyes.

He said what he paid...

and then edited his post.

If you need a toolbox...and want a Snappy.

he got a good deal

Correct thread then.

I don't know why but I absolutely love Industrial quality tool storage boxes and cabinets.

I think I get more fired up about the storage than the tools that go inside.

Wait, you said "industrial quality".

But we're talking about a Classic series box here.

Buying a KRL series or better for a household shop is just a waste-the entry level snapon box is perfectly acceptable.

Some might consider calling Snappy 'acceptable' for home tool storage to be a little on the snobby side.   ;D

While I recognize that your deal is decent, to be killer that case would have needed pies already inside it :D

Nice ;)
