My neighbor Amos' homemade hard cider.
That sh#t sneaks up on you.
He says there's a giggle in every apple.

Reminds me of a buddy's uncle's homemade apple pie wine, complete with "Panty Remover" labels. Tastes like nothing's there, and before you know it, well.....

One of my favorite mixed drinks is Texas Tea . . . almost a Long Island minus the Gin and replacing it with Bourbon . . .

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

Had that on our cruise last summer.  We had a bartender well versed in "tea" variations.  Texas was one of our favorites!

Ask ML about DIMBY cider.

I had cider that was pushing 20% once.  It was a bit bitter, but it would totally sneak up behind your chair and smack you in the back of your head for no apparent reason.  Then you had to stand up...     Good luck with that  ;D

This stuff was anything except bitter...and it wasn't exactly cider. :P

It was damn tasty though and got the job done.

Years ago I created a drink I called Murk, which contained roughly equal parts Hi-C Ecto Cooler, Squirt soda, and gin. It was a pale, murky green color and would twist your horns if you burned it using a decent gin.

And then Hi-C quit making the Ecto Cooler, ruining EVERYTHING.  >:(  :P

That's like asking you which is your favorite child  :P

If you want to move beyond the 'well' level of drinks (rum and coke, gin and tonic, etc), remember the quality of the mixer matters as much as the liquor
if you like tonic drinks, get some Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic, and also try different garnishes besides lime.
Hendricks-tonic-cucumber is great on a hot day, or try a meyer lemon or tangerine wedge

another good summer mixer is ginger ale. lots of good craft ones to try. the 365 house brand at Whole Paycheck is actually good for the low price
add some vodka (i like Titos for mixing), or some nice bourbon and a slice of lime and its sippin on the porch time

Favorite Alcoholic Beverage...?

What ever you're pouring.

Given the right time, place and attire, a nice, ice cold vodka martini with an olive before dinner and a lemon twist after.

As of late I've been nursing a tumbler of Pendelton Let'er Buck, a blended Canadian Whiskey / no ice.

If I'm in Belize, Travelers One Barrel Rum / on the rocks.
He man, where are all the ads?

This only helps if you visit Asheville, NC, but we have a place called "Olive or Twist" that is basically a martini bar that serves food as well.  They have a nice list of martinis to try for those looking to try different martinis.

A drink that is quite different I tried while in NYC was one that used Lucid (US legal Absinthe, basically Anise liquor) which was a slightly sweet citrus drink with the bite of the Anise liquor.  It was nice, but maybe I'm weird.  One of the bartenders said he'd never seen anyone drink more than one of those in the 6 years he had worked there.

On a stinkin' hot summer's evening....

nothing better than Bombay Sapphire direct from the freezer... tonic water mixer, slice of lemon.

And yes.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.
