How good are Sharkskinz for replacement bodywork? I have seen good reviews.

A buddy has a 1992 900 Superlight and wants a fresh set of bodywork. I saw the whole kit for about $860 USD sans screen plus shipping. The SL seat has a built in seat support which is good. They are American made according to the website. My buddy wants quality over price.

Cheers.

Since they are designed for track, rather thin, but other than that, quite good.

The fit is great. They come primed, and the materials are quality, but for a street bike you'll end up doing a bunch of surfacing to get them really nice.

Shipping will be expensive. They ship in a huge box.

yeah, I have a set for the 748 when I do trackdays.
they're way better than other sets I've had, but if its a street standard he want's they may disappoint...

Hey Monsta
Long time.

He is a good spray painter and very good on the preparation. He won't let anyone else paint his bikes. He'll prep 'em himself. I'll let him know what's involved if he gets them.

Cheers.
