Some of you track junkies (Scott  ;D ) may already know Derek from the Thursday AMS private lesson days... The coolest thing, though, is now he's working at AMS/Dallas.

How awesome is that?

For those of you who don't know anything about this guy, he's a former racer, SUPER knowledgeable about Ducatis and very personable - EXCELLENT track day instructor.  He's working up front with Scott.  Cruise by and introduce yourself sometime  [thumbsup]

Yep.

Have y'all signed up for the mondo track day in October out at MSR?  It's only an on-line "Buy it Now" kinda thing at the moment - Scott didn't have it in the computer yet; was gonna sign up for it today.  Oh well, that'll free up some cash for new tires on the SBK... and maybe some track plastics and...

Dammit... crack has gotta be cheaper than this Ducati shit  [laugh]

Good, maybe he can get my freakin' parts in from the Alvarado store.

Been two weeks for them to ship something over from the ALV. store to the Dallas one. Ridiculous. They could have easily shipped it to me in two days.

Something is wrong there. They haul shit back and forth all the time, damn near daily. My 916SPS was ready last week and I told them I couldn't get until this week and it showed at Dallas yesterday AM. They should have had your stuff over here the next day, 2 at the most... not two weeks. Did they have to wait on an order from DNA?? That would make sense. Did they say that had what you ordered in stock in Alvarado?

Just got a voicemail from scott, who I've been bugging daily for about a week now. It said that all my parts had shipped from Italy and will be here in a day or two. Funny, I thought he said they were in Alvarado.

You know, all I ask of customer service people is they don't lie to me. If it takes you 3 weeks to get me something, just say so. Don't say 2 days and then disappoint me. Say 4 weeks and surprise me. You'd think you'd WANT to do that.
