Hello everyone!

Been riding for a number of years but never owned a Ducati. Thankfully that just changed. Just picked up a mint 2007 S2R 1000 that is bone stock with only 2000 miles on it!

Sorry, logged on for the first time at 6 AM, still a bit sleepy. My name is John and I live in Connecticut, Northeast US. I am aware of the plastic tank issues, unfortunately all they sell in my area is E-10, can't afford to use race gas even if it were available close by. My bike does have minor tank swell, the left (clutch) side tank rubber is a little misaligned with the frame rail.

Ye Ha! Just got the reg and insurance sorted out and rode her home today! Took the long way home . Found out the cam belts were replaced last summer, replaced the brake and clutch fluids, oil, oil filter, battery, and original 7 year old Bridgestones with a new set of Michelin Power 3's. I would post a pic but I have not figured out how to do that yet.

It's a sublime riding experience for sure. There are no bikes like it. Enjoy.
