I have the same model wheels on Edgar. Best bang for the buck wheels IMO. And they're purdy.

Quick update on the wheel mishap;

Carrozzeria has accepted responsibility and have arranged a UPS pickup at their expense, and apparently will be expediting the correct wheel. Even with the understanding that it has been anodized. So big ups to them, pending receipt of the new wheel.

The sales rep really over complicated the sale of this wheel set by over analyzing it. Since the forks I'm using are are Marzocchi from an S2R, rebuilt with new cartridges, it was constantly stressed how "custom" the wheel set was...it isn't. Everything about the dimensions of non adjustable Marz. Are identical to the non adjustable Showas; axle, caliper mounts and all. It's just a pair of wheels for a 99+ DSS Monster...nothing oddball about it. That would have saved me quite the headache.

I just hope the anodizing on the replacement is as nice as what I paid for. Hard coat black anodizing is amazing.

Yippee, more NOS stuff, and a bizzare tail chop bracket from TPO + more Ti;

Really it's the NOS stuff that tickles me the most. I'm hoping the bike has the "new bike smell" when it's done;

I wouldn't mind more info on the kickstand.  My OEM one on my 2001 M600 is soooo flimsy, and has me worried.

The whole assembly was $88 from Valtermotousa on ebay. I bought it for the perch, I'm using a billet kickstand from SSR

hopefully you are not flipping the bike around, using the stand as a pivot.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

That's funny but I can think of 2 people on this forum whose side stands have spontaneously snapped, sooo..maybe it's not an unreasonable fear Joshua has.

Wait, so I could swap an SSR side stand onto my OEM perch?  Not to highjack your thread, but here is a picture of mine.

Never done that.  The thing just seems flimsy putting it on its side stand.

Yes. And they are sexy and trick looking. Just like you'd expect a big chunk of billet to be. :)

Oh and you're not jacking anything Joshua, no worries. All I mounted a tail light on an otherwise empty frame yesterday. Nothings happening in this thread till I have an engine and 2 wheels. :)

Sweet!  Now I am on a hunt for one.  I noticed that its 1" longer.  Are you concerned about how your bike will lean with a longer side stand?

No, I needed that extra since I raised the overall height with risers in the back and a 170 tire upfront. The stand is perfect.
