ford mustang problem

 Hi I really dont know where to post this but here it goes

We got a mustang 1999 boss shinoda  and a couple day ago it didin't whant to start  [bang]

There a wire loom that goe's from thee stering columm to the car ....
it's part of the ainti-theft system ....

There's supposed to be a connector there connecting 4 wires ....



The suprise it that there was no connector and they where olding whit medical tape  :o the tape got loose [bang]

And the result is that niw we dont know whit wire goes whit one anorher [bang]

Does someone here as a ford mustang that could take a photo  of the anti-theft  connector under the steering cilum ???

Not a mustang, but I had a '97 Taurus with a sudden non-start, not even attempt to start issue.  Upon closer inspection, a ground or similar (small, not the main ground on the starter) wire had come loose on from the starter.  Symptoms were ignition switch activated the dash, but once you rolled over to start, nothing happened.  Not sure if that can happen on a Mustang, but something to at least check.

Whe know that its rally an anti-theft problem  we got the signal in the dash ... and we got 2 sets of 4 wires but dont know it what order to link them together

if it's not a factory ford anti theft alarm......remove all of it.

Years ago my Dad had a '96 Mustang GT with a non-factory alarm/security system in it. All sorts of weird issues, including the occasional no-start. He removed it, presto, no more issues. I owned the car for a couple of years after and had no trouble either.
