Selling help for my 750M

I'm thinning the heard.  The next to go is my 2001 750M.  I'm debating on whether I should sell the bike with the DP Conti exhaust and the Sargent seat or put the OEM's back on and sell these pieces separately.  I paid a pretty penny for these back in 2007 and the DP Conti's were very hard to find.  I'm leaning toward just getting rid of everything at once.  Any input?  Thanks.

There are always pros and cons to every choice but in this case a little research up front may pay dividends!

If there items people will want and you can get good money for I would sell them separately because in most cases you wont get any extra or very little with them on the bike unless the bike is nothing special and these parts are the selling point!

You need to find out what is on the market in your general area and gauge either way if you will do well complete or better off splitting the parts!

And ultimately if you can't be bothered or time poor then you have already made up your mind! ;D

Cheers. [thumbsup]

IMHO, you'll get better returns by parting out the pricier/custom stuff as long as you still have the stock parts to put back on.  You can always put them up on e-bay with a high reserve and see if you can get close to what you want. If not, they'll likely help with the bike sale. Potential bike buyers may or may not see value in the custom bits, though.

Thanks guys.  What you both said is what Im struggling with.  I just remember what a pregnant dog it was to find these discontinued pipes.  After looking for them for almost a year, I was willing to pay almost anything to get my hands on them.  Ive got the original box for these too.  Maybe I'll throw them on the forum and ebay and see what gives.

Put it back to stock with the option of the aftermarket parts for a bit more.
