I think places like that are amazing and I wish there were more of them.

Yeah you can make all kinds of stuff but more importantly it exposes people to industry who otherwise wouldn't be. Stuff needs to get made and hands need to get dirty doing it. Kids need to see they can make a good living as a builder (blanket term there) and not be saddled with crippling student loan debt.

For a lot of people a place like that could be step one and I fully support it.

I learned long ago if you are good at making or fixing things you don't go hungry.

Hoping the one just down the way from me will still be there in a few years. My wee one is too wee for anything in a place like that (only just getting mega blocks stacked up) - but I have hopes!
