CRG levers Reversible?

I got a CRG lever and it looks like it can be swapped between clutch and brake function by unbolting the adjustment mechanism and swapping it to the other side. Just a few bolts to be undone and the components swapped to flip the lever over. Its a large pivot clutch lever that I will use on a brake master. I know that there are some extra parts needed sometimes to actuate the clutch or brake switches, but besides that this looks quite modular in design. I'm not using a clutch/brake switch for this application.

There's tiny fiddly bits inside the position adjustment levers/cam assembly.
Tiny springs and ball bearings.
Both adjustment levers have a little tongue and groove arrangement that mates to the cam, and detents for the ball/spring.

I imagine they even annoy the assemblers at CRG, who likely have jigs and spare bits and lots of practice.

I've had several sets apart for cleaning and lubing to un-stick the adjuster, and others for re-anodizing.

It will build your watch making skills.  ;D

I did this when I got my first CRG levers (both the same part number instead of one break and one clutch). Just pay attention to what goes where.

I have swapped them out when selling, crashes, etc required - by turning them upside down.

I made the mistake (ONCE) of trying to take them apart to make the "adjustment clicker" be right side up or correct color - ball bearing and small springs - LOST!! on garage floor - LOL. Don't do it.
