Hi  :)
My last update was long ago, but the end of the project is near, so more photos soon  [beer]

Hi BG,  very nice work I'm enjoying this thread. :)

Can you tell me, did you remove the fork bottoms for painting or did you simply mask off the upper area?

Thanks :)

Hello  [Dolph]

Yes I masked the forks just to be sure that they will be protected from paint and scratches and the painter did the rest of the work. Unfortunately he didn't prepare the little upper surface well  [bang] and i had to finish the job myself.

I don't want to post more crappy cellphone pics in this topic and soon I'll be ready with the bike. It's allmost complete, but a few things left.

I promise to upload some quality photos  [thumbsup]

I have to finish the exaust pipes. The battery is shot and needs replacement. It was verry nice one, but......  sudden death  :o
I installed a pair of 140 main jets and now the carbs need adjustment too  [cheeky]

Wow, totally missed this before. Nice vapor catch box.

You went the hard way with the suspension linkage, but it came out well.

So, like the above, what's new?!

Hi fellas  :)
The pics came just in time today!
The bike was ready for riding one month ago and after 1000 miles on the road I can say, that the baby monster is pure fun to ride after the rebuild [Dolph]
It's still hard to catch up with the Diavels and Panigale's but I can live with that  ;D
I still need to finish the connecting pipes for the Leo Vice SBK slipons; the new custom retro dashboard and the leaking oil cooler, but now I need to ride  :P
If you have any questions I'll be very happy to answer!
Now the promised photos:

Fergus

Looks awesome! I love how you re-purposed  that fender as a windscreen.  [drink]

He's mentioned that he intends to install one, hence the horn-behind-headlight mod, but apparently it's leaking and giving him issues so he's saying fuggit for now.
