Ti for fairing bolts??

What's the advantage over regular aluminum? Not a strength point and the alum ones are very light.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

It's a bit of a running joke. I'm not familiar with the location of the fuse box on Buck's bike, is it just a bracket holding the fuse panel and nothing else?

Is anyone familiar with Speedhut gauges? I still haven't sorted out what dash I wanna go with and a GPS speedometer would be super slick. They can customize the face in multiple ways as well as add a Ducati logo so it could wind up being a really clean install.

http://www.speedhut.com/gauge/GR4-DUALGPS-ST-01T/1/Dual-Gauge---120mph-GPS-speedometer---8K-Tachometer-(w--turn-signal-and-high-beam)

Here's one a dude had customized with a Yamaha logo:

The gauge matched the timing lights on the salt... They can customize the speed range, too.

Looks cute.

What size valves?
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

44/39 from KW I believe.

Hey BN,
How did you find this shop?
What about them led you to send your motor there?
And are they doing just larger valve job and porting to the heads?
Thanks,

koko64

The before and after shots really show just how bad the stock ports can be on the old 900's.

Hey

He was recommended to me by a person on this forum who I trust, and I liked what I heard when I spoke to him. His credentials are also pretty impressive, if a little dated. But these motors are pretty dated too... ;) any other questions you have I'll answer via PM.

Nothing wrong with an old school approach to an old school motor. [thumbsup] Staying with the oem cams? He working the manifolds too?

Yes he insisted I send him the manifolds for porting actually..seemed to feel it was worth it.

Stock carby SS cams. I think they're a good choice with the long manifolds based on what I've read.

How's it look?
