I have not seen many people use the Shift-Tech Stage 2 Exhausts. The seem on par (maybe a bit higher) in cost with the other slip-on systems of a similar nature.

I wanted one which gave me the option to remove the passenger pegs completely. This leaves me with competition werkes and shift tech stage 2. Does anyone have these. Sparse info online and even more spare videos.

Thanks in advance.

Wow no response for over a week. Either they suck or nobody likes the look except me.

Only one way to find out I guess  ;D

Have some patience. Some people may have seasonal activities taking up their time and therefore are spending less time online.

Personally, I favor the CompWerkes over the Shift-Tech, but either is a definite improvement over stock.

You are right. Point noted. Looked at the comp werkes but it sticks out a lot further away from the bike. I'm planning on placing the order in the next couple of days. I think I've settled on the shift tech.

Settled for a different model for altogether. Ordered an SC project GP M2 exhaust. I really liked the shift-tech design but the exhaust hangar bracket mount attaches to two screws utilized for the boot guard plate.

This is probably completely wrong assessment (so take it with a grain of salt) but I don't like the idea of all that exhaust vibration transferring thru to the rear brake master cylinder. That and it seems like the fastening points aren't that strong (two really small screws)

My biggest reason for a shorty was to get a cleaner look on the tail but it seems like that can be accomplished if I use and evotech bracket with the GP M2. Still not as clean as the Shift-tech but as with everything there's always a compromise to deal with.

Monster is in the initial stage of an aggressive winter reconstruction. I'll post pics of the exhaust when it arrives. From the looks of it, this is not an easy part to procure.

I wish it was a [thumbsup] but it's more like a [bang]

I bought a used 12' M1100 Evo. Great condition mechanically (7k commute mikes) but cosmetically, the previous owner (aka numbnutz) used an undiluted ZEP industrial degreaser on the bike to clean it.

Etched all the bare aluminum (including anodized forks tubes, shifter, brake pedals, heel guards, exhaust heat shield, levers, kickstand, caiipers)

Fortunately, the newer monster's engine block and wheels were protected by the factory paint and the frame, subframe, and swingarm were protected by the powdercoat.

Only saving grace was the $7k price. Bike needs some TLC this winter and once this is done, I'm confident its going to be a force to be reckoned with in the neighboring hills.
